Programs like the Peak/Off-Peak gives reduced power rates based on time of use. The Accredited Meralco Contractors program helps SMEs get the right technical suppliers when setting up new operations. His group is also guiding big customers on what to do about the oncoming Retail Competition and Open Access regime. Smart Grid will allow customers to switch from post-paid to prepaid, allow online monitoring of consumption of electricity by meter — and even by appliance.
